The MATCH Consortium Agreement governs the relationship between the ten beneficiaries and four associated partners. This legally binding document addresses various requirements, expectations, and potential situations that may arise during the project’s lifecycle.

As explicitly stated within the Horizon Europe Grant Agreement, “The beneficiaries must have internal arrangements regarding their operation and coordination to ensure that the action is implemented properly.” The Consortium Agreement fulfills this critical requirement, providing a comprehensive framework for effective collaboration and efficient project execution.

The Consortium Agreement covers several key aspects vital to MATCH success, including:

  • Responsibilities of Parties: Clearly defining the roles and obligations of each partner.
  • Liability towards each other: Establishing the framework for accountability and responsibility amongst the consortium members.
  • Governance structure: Outlining the decision-making processes and organizational hierarchy within the project.
  • Financial provisions: Detailing the financial contributions, management, and reporting procedures.
  • Ownership and Dissemination of Results: Defining the intellectual property rights and the strategy for sharing project outcomes.
  • Access Rights: Specifying the conditions under which partners can access and utilize project results and background information.
  • Non-disclosure of confidential information: Ensuring the protection of sensitive data shared within the consortium.

This agreement is a testament to the commitment and collaboration of all partners involved, ensuring a smooth and coordinated implementation of the project.
