The MATCH Project is hosting its first symposium, dedicated to the theme “Multicore Fibers & Intercore Crosstalk,” featuring internationally renowned speakers from both academia and industry.

This inaugural symposium will bring together leading experts to discuss current challenges, breakthroughs, and future directions in multicore fiber technology and intercore crosstalk mitigation. Participants will have the opportunity to hear from distinguished speakers and engage in rich technical discussions within the MATCH community and beyond.
The MATCH team warmly invites researchers, professionals, students, and all those interested to join this event and discover the latest advances shaping the future of optical communications.
The symposium will be held in English and will take place on March 24th (14:30–17:00) and March 25th (9:30–11:30) in Auditorium A302, Building 4, at Iscte–IUL in Lisbon.
Admission is free, but registration is mandatory.
Certificates of attendance will be issued after the event upon request to the organization.
